    This Korean Feather Reed Grass is native to Asia. It is a warm season grass that blooms in late summer to early fall. This is a shade tolerant grass which is not seen often in perennial grasses. The blooming bottlebrush plumes are purple red when they first open and then turn to a greenish tan. Looks great in dried bouquets as the blooms remain fluffy when dried. Zone 4 perennial so be sure to cover in the fall to protect from harsh winter temperatures.
