Haworthia, who are sometimes mistaken as Gasteria, are another close relative of the Aloe species. These small and slow growing succulents resemble miniature Aloe plants due to the similar growth habit and leaf shape. Some species of Haworthia grow in clusters by forming pups. These pups can be removed to produce new plants or can be left to form a large cluster of Haworthia in a container.
